Common Sense Rule #3:
Only buy from a reputable state licensed, insured investigative firm.
Just as you wouldn’t hire an unlicensed, uninsured contractor, providers of information are no different. State licensed investigators answer to governmental agencies and are bonded and/or insured. They are much less likely to perpetrate a scam. They also have access to information sources that others don’t. Sure, it will probably cost $35-$45 for a license plate lookup, but at least you’ll be assured that the information returned is guaranteed to be current and accurate. After all, what good is obsolete information?
